At Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School Mosman we value the importance of student voice. The Student Representative Council (SRC) consists of students from all classes Kindergarten through to Year 6 who have been elected by their peers to represent them. They are seen to be role models, trusted by their peers and enthusiastic representatives of their class concerns and ideas.
The SRC meet fortnightly with a mentor teacher and discuss ways in which we can continue to improve our school for our students and initiatives to promote positive wellbeing. Their input has recently assisted in the renovation of the school playground. Our student leaders in Year 6 assist in the running of sports, technology clubs, social justice and caring for the environment.
